Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts to Lafdzuna: Journal of Language & Literature undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which both the authors' and reviewers' identities are concealed to ensure an unbiased evaluation.
Review Workflow:

Initial Screening by Editors:

The editorial team checks the manuscript's completeness, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, and adherence to the formatting guidelines.

Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements will be returned without review.

Reviewer Assignment:

Suitable manuscripts are sent to two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

Reviewers are selected based on their academic background and familiarity with the subject matter.

Review Process:

Reviewers evaluate the originality, novelty, methodology, academic contribution, and clarity of language.

Recommendations may include: Accept without revision, Minor revision, Major revision, or Reject.

Editorial Decision:

The final decision is made by the editor based on reviewers' recommendations.

Authors are given up to 2 weeks for minor revisions and up to 3 weeks for major revisions.

Finalization and Publication:

Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated (if necessary) before being copyedited and scheduled for publication.

The average peer review process takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the responsiveness of reviewers and authors.

No fees are charged during the review stage (APC is charged only after the manuscript is accepted for publication).
