Indonesian language learning on advertising, slogans, and posters in Grade VIII at MTs Darul Arifin Jambi indicates a low level of students’ learning interest. This condition is influenced by the use of less varied learning media, which tends to make students passive during the learning process. Therefore, the use of attractive and user-friendly digital learning media, such as Canva, is needed. This study aims to describe the use of Canva-based digital media in improving students’ interest in learning Indonesian language on advertising, slogan, and poster materials. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of Grade VIII students and an Indonesian language teacher. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted by grouping the data based on the research focus and describing them narratively. The results show that the use of Canva-based digital media increased students’ learning interest, as indicated by higher levels of attention, participation, and enthusiasm during the learning activities. In addition, students were able to understand the learning materials more easily due to the attractive and creative visual presentations. In conclusion, the use of Canva-based digital media is effective in enhancing students’ interest in learning Indonesian language on advertising, slogan, and poster materials in Grade VIII at MTs Darul Arifin Jambi.
